Product Description

PROBOMBA Digital Level Board

No need to use probes to protect and control electric pumps

Presentation

- Plastic box 250x200x140 mm in gray ABS RAL 7035, with hinge and transparent polycarbonate lid.
- Danfoss / WEG contactor.
- Digital electronic relay for command and protection of Probomba electric pumps
- Automatic (AUT), manual (I) or off (0) operation, controlled by a 3-position switch with protective capsule.
- Connection for remote safety control (C11-C12) (float, pressure switch or others).
- Connection for remote start/stop command (P11-P12) (pressure switch, float or others)
- Protection against short circuits through circuit breaker.
- Indication of panel in automatic operation (yellow indicator).
- Engine on indication (green indicator).
- 4 glands, for passing the connection cables.

How it works

The panel must display all signals off until the control circuit switch is turned to the automatic (AUT) position, at which time the yellow indicator turns on.

If the start/stop command (P11-P12) closes, the pump turns on (green indicator and “PWR”, “COM” and “OUT” LEDs on the PRObomba relay), turning off if the start/stop command reopens.

If during operation the PRObomba relay sees a consumption higher than the maximum parameter or lower than the minimum for more than 4 seconds, the pump switches off and the cause of the defect is indicated on the Relay display ”EIH” - overcurrent error or ”EIL” - error of subintensity. If the detected anomaly was due to an underintensity, automatic reset will be attempted 3 times at intervals of 5min, 5min. (factory pre-defined value but with the possibility of being changed by the user), with the last reset being attempted after 99 min. at the end of which the relay switches off definitively. If the detected anomaly was due to an overcurrent, the pump switches off and the relay does not attempt any reset. Manual reset can be carried out using the “RST” reset button on the Probomba Relay or through the control circuit switch, simply by turning it off and on again.

Whenever during operation it is verified that the supply voltage is higher than the maximum parameter or lower than the minimum (factory pre-defined values) for more than 4 seconds, it is indicated on the PRObomba Relay display every 4 seconds (“EUH” - overvoltage error or ”EUL” - undervoltage error).

Opening the safety control (C11-C12) turns off the pump, regardless of the indications of the start/stop command. If you do not intend to use the safety control, it must be closed using a "shunt".

With the control circuit switch in manual position, the pump starts, regardless of the status of the start/stop command
