Product Description

Why a variable speed pool pump?
Variable speed pool pumps are becoming more and more popular due to their enormous energy and cost savings.

In order to understand how a variable speed pool pump works, it is best to compare the pump with a light bulb. With a traditional pool pump, just like a light bulb is either on or off. In this way it always works at maximum power or at maximum speed. A variable speed pool pump is equivalent to having a dimmer for the light bulb. So you can choose to make the lamp less bright at the end of the day, for example. Less energy is used. On the pool pump, you can leave the pump running at a lower rpm.

But what's the point in having a pool pump running at the lowest speed?
At night, the pool is usually covered and therefore there is less pollution in the water, in this case the water does not need to be filtered as often. When vacuuming, you will prefer a pump that is as powerful as possible, so that the suction power is maximum. With a variable speed pool pump, you have a lot more options and you don't waste energy unnecessarily.

Touch Screen
What makes this pump unique is the first pool pump with a touch screen, ensuring the pump is very easy to operate. The screen has been designed to maximize ease of use. You can read power consumption and motor speed through the display. You can also set the different motor speeds and the 24-hour timer via the touchscreen.

VARIABLE SPEED PUMP IDEAL FOR RESIDENTIAL SWIMMING POOLS.

The QP PRO VS pump is a variable speed pump with high energy efficiency (up to 80% energy savings) and very quiet at low speeds. Significant cost savings thanks to its low energy consumption.

Variable speed technology allows the pump to run at very low speeds, significantly reducing consumption and noise.
It also improves the quality and efficiency of chlorination filtration and increases the time between washes (less equipment maintenance).
Double security system for separate water and electricity.
Optional timer for 24 hours working. Smart full touch screen user interface design.

Maximum suction range: 2.5m
Powerful motor with built-in thermal protector.
Double security to separate water and electricity.
IP55 and class F
Smart touchscreen interface design
Optional timer for 24 hours of operation.
CE certified long service life
Energy savings of up to 80%.
The latest technology in pumps, where we can vary the speed to adapt it to the use we need.

Energy Savings

Engine Speed
The higher the frequency (Hz), the higher the motor rotation speed (rpm). In 2-pole motors the speed is approximately [frequency x 60]:
- 30 Hz ~ 1800 rpm
- 40 Hz ~ 2400 rpm
- 50 Hz ~ 3000 rpm

The flow rate is proportional to the speed.
Pressure is proportional to the square of the velocity.
Power is proportional to the cube of speed.

For example, if we reduce the speed by 30%, the new parameters will be:
Flow rate ~ 70% of the original
Head height ~ 49% of original
Power ~34% of original
