ThermoWave ™ expansion vessels are specially designed for use in potable water heating applications.
Many homes and buildings have potable water heating systems to provide hot water for washing, cooking, bathing, etc. As water is heated, it also expands, and this expansion raises system pressure and can cause serious damage.
Most systems use a relief valve that is installed to relieve the expanded water flow, thus preventing the system from exceeding the maximum operating pressure. Unfortunately this wastes energy as the volume of hot water that has been relieved must be reset and sharpened again. In order to safely and economically accommodate water expansion, GWS offers ThermoWave ™ Series expansion vessels. ThermoWave ™ vessels perform their function safely by absorbing the expanded volume avoiding wastage of water and energy, while maintaining system operating pressure at safe levels.
The ThermoWave ™ series utilizes high grade chlorine butyl diaphragm and virgin polypropylene liner ensuring the potability of your water.
ThermoWave ™ expansion vessels are quality tested in several steps on the production line to ensure the structural integrity of each tank.
ThermoWave ™ expansion vessels represent the best value for money and the best quality option available on the market.
