Algaecide to eliminate yellow mustard algae

Our PISCIMAR laboratory has created an effective solution to eliminate probably one of the most resistant and increasingly common types of algae in swimming pools around the world.

Yellow algae are resistant to shock treatments such as chlorine or algaecides, even concentrated ones.

ALGI-YELLOW - PM-654 is a shock product against mustard or yellow algae that deposit on the walls of the pool.

By adding PM-654 ALGI- YELLOW we will weaken them and in combination with a dose of 5 ppm of PM-531 RITOCAL GR or another disinfectant they will be permanently eliminated.

Effectiveness: ALGI-YELLOW, 1 L- PM-654 - is highly effective in controlling algae growth in swimming pools and spas.

Method and dosage:

Shock treatment: 1 L/100 m3combined with superchlorination (up to 5 ppm free chlorine)

Maintenance dose: 1 L/100 m3 of water each month

Apply the product, distributing it throughout the pool.

If the water becomes cloudy immediately after applying the product, add PM-693 CLEANPOOL SHOCK or

PM-613 GOLDENFLOK to remove cloudiness and dead algae residue and filter for 24 hours.

If there is still dead algae at the bottom of the pool after this process,

remove them by vacuuming them with a pool cleaner and setting the selector valve to empty.
