Energy Savings

Engine Speed
The higher the frequency (Hz), the higher the motor rotation speed (rpm). In 2-pole motors the rotation is approximately [frequency x 60]:
- 30 Hz ~ 1800 rpm
- 40 Hz ~ 2400 rpm
- 50 Hz ~ 3000 rpm

Flow rate is proportional to speed
Pressure is proportional to the square of the velocity
Power is proportional to the cube of speed

For example, if we reduce the speed by 30%, the new parameters will be:
Flow rate ~ 70% of original
Head ~ 49% of original
Power ~ 34% of original
