ASTRALPOOL Victoria Plus Silent Pool Pump with NASTEC speed variator model MIDA

The MIDA inverter coupled with the Victoria Plus Silent motor not only allows the inverter pool pump to run between 40% ~ 100% to fulfill different functions such as backwashing and proper filtration, but also precisely controls the motor and inverter for optimal quiet operation, reducing the noise level of the pool pump.

MIDA inverter is a new generation of NASTEC inverters, coupled to the motor or wall-mounted, manufactured by NASTEC , specially designed to control and protect pumping systems based on the speed variation of electric pumps, ensuring energy savings due to speed control, smooth start and stop, and system durability and reliability.

Thanks to the Nastec NOW app, it is possible to communicate with all Nastec Bluetooth® SMART devices.
Monitor multiple operating parameters simultaneously on your smartphone or tablet .
Get energy consumption statistics and check alarm history.
Make programs, save them to file, copy them to other devices and share them among multiple users.
Create reports with the possibility of inserting notes, images and sending them by email or saving them in the digital archive.
Remotely control, via wi-fi or GSM , a Nastec device, using a nearby smartphone as a modem, through the free Nastec REMO service.

Energy Savings

Engine Speed

The higher the frequency (Hz) , the higher the motor rotation speed (rpm) . In 2 pole motors the rotation is approximately [frequency x 60] :

  • - 30 Hz ~ 1800 rpm
  • - 40 Hz ~ 2400 rpm
  • - 50 Hz ~ 3000 rpm

The flow rate is proportional to the speed.
Pressure is proportional to the square of velocity.
Power is proportional to the cube of speed.

For example, if we reduce the speed by 30% , the new parameters will be:

  • Flow rate ~ 70% of original.
  • Head ~ 49% of original.
  • Power ~ 34% of original.
